Cartoon Сity is an illustration project that redefines the medium of "busy picture", the large format image that teems people, animals and other objects, interconnected in a specific scene. These detailed world can be looked at for hours and stimulate certain play. Cartoon City is drawn, with lots of love and attention to detail, by Natasha Schwarz, who assembles the characters and objects to form your very own and distinctive map. Every new Cartoon City starts with a real map. Parts of the city, it's landmarks and attractions are exactly where they are in a real city and space. The architectural and cultural specificity of the town is easily seen despite the cartoon-like exaggeration.
